Books About Adoption, Foster Care and Self-Care

At BPAR, books are near and dear to our hearts. Not only are our shelves overflowing with well-worn, dog-eared favorites, but we continually scope out new titles and write book reviews about the best of the new crop.

That said, there's a particular book we yearned for but could never find, one that gives the child adoptee a voice and lets him speak to his parents through the pages. In 2017 we wrote and illustrated this book ourselves.
