Boston Post Adoption Resources, also known as BPAR, is a nonprofit organization that was founded to support all individuals and families who are touched by adoption. We provide specialized therapeutic support, connect individuals and families to resources, and educate the public about post adoption services to ensure that all those touched by adoption lead healthy, productive lives.

We offer assistance to individuals, couples, and families in a unique and safe space that addresses the issues that adoption brings. We see birth families, adoptees, adoptive and foster care parents, siblings as well as any other individual touched by adoption or out of home placement. We provide several clinical therapeutic services for members of the adoption constellation including:

  • Individual Therapy
  • Family Therapy
  • Short Term and Long Term Group Therapy
  • Consultations
  • Support During Birth Family Searches
  • Reunions and Assisted Visits
  • Pre-Adoptive Counseling

Fee-for Service Clinician Job Opening

Boston Post Adoption Resources is seeking a Fee-for-Service Clinician to join our clinical team!

Hourly Rate: Commensurate with market value

Requirements:

  • Must be Licensed (LICSW, LMHC, etc.) with a minimum of two years experience
  • Must be open to working with kids, teens, parents and adults
  • Clinical experience working with trauma
  • Clinical experience working with out of home placement, adoption, and foster care is  strongly recommended
  • Flexibility, independence, a team player, open to feedback, and willingness to learn are a must
  • Must be willing to do and competent in Telehealth

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain caseload of a minimum of 8 clients with opportunities to run groups
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical paperwork
  • Participate in supervision to maintain clinical skills
