Here’s a schedule of therapeutic Post Adoption Support Groups and non-therapeutic workshops run by the clinicians at BPAR.

Summer Workshop for Kids Age 9-12: “My Story My Way” Module 2

Module 2: Telling My Story
Participants will participate in art an expressive experientials focused on personal story telling. Fantasy and filling in blank spaces in personal biographies will be explored. This workshop will include altering a book with media as well as narrative writing, story telling, and puppetry. Participants will work as a group to design a loosely scripted performance where they will act out their stories together as a group.

Note: This is Module 2 of 4 in the "My Story My Way" series for adoptees age 9-12 offered by BPAR this summer. Group leader Caitlin Woodstock will lead the workshops, each lasting 3 hours from 11am-2pm on Mondays: July 9, July 23, August 6 and August 21. Participants my attend any or all of the workshops. Fee is $75 per workshop or $250 for all four workshops. We accept cash, check, and credit card. Payment is due at time of group. RSVP is required.
