Here’s a schedule of therapeutic Post Adoption Support Groups and non-therapeutic workshops run by the clinicians at BPAR.

Summer Workshop for Kids Age 9-12: “My Story My Way” Module 1

Module 1: Identity Development
Participants will participate in art and expressive therapy experientials focused on identity: how we see ourselves, how we feel others see us, and a safe exploration of the unknown parts of individual identity. This workshop will include individual mask making, puppet construction, group collaboration, icebreaker games, and story telling. Participants who have a strong interest in visual arts will learn new techniques for expressing their experience of themselves.

Note: This is Module 1 of 4 in the "My Story My Way" series for adoptees age 9-12 offered by BPAR this summer. Group leader Caitlin Woodstock will lead the workshops, each lasting 3 hours from 11am-2pm on Mondays: July 9, July 23, August 6 and August 21. Participants my attend any or all of the workshops. Fee is $75 per workshop or $250 for all four workshops. We accept cash, check, and credit card. Payment is due at time of group. RSVP is required.
